A visible file is not always a platform-ready file.
Token platforms fetch images with automated systems. A logo can look correct in your browser while returning the wrong content type, blocking external requests or using dimensions that produce an unreadable crop.
Keep the design legible at 200 pixels
CoinGecko’s official guidance recommends a 200 × 200 PNG, JPG or WEBP. Fine text and thin details disappear quickly at wallet-icon size.
Check where the old logo originates
Replacing the image does not update every profile automatically. Run a token presence scan to distinguish canonical metadata from platform-specific state.
